Gateway Scripts was proud to attend the 2025 AAPM Annual Meeting, held this year in the heart of the nation’s capital—Washington, D.C. Between academic sessions, attendees explored the Washington Monument, U.S. Capitol Building, and a range of incredible local restaurants near the convention center and throughout the city. The fusion of intellectual exchange and cultural exploration made for a truly memorable week.
Gateway Scripts recently held a successful series of ESAPI and Visual Scripting courses at the Varian Education Center in Beijing, empowering Chinese clinicians and physicists with essential programming and automation skills. Set within Beijing's high-tech development area, the courses provided hands-on training in clinical scripting and advanced user interface design, fostering collaboration and innovation in radiation oncology.
Gateway Scripts had a strong presence at AAPM 2024 in Los Angeles, engaging with industry leaders and medical physicists. The event began with the Varian 3Co Systems seminar, followed by a developer symposium where Matt from Gateway Scripts presented on the MVVM pattern framework. Throughout the meeting, Gateway Scripts' booth was a focal point for discussions about their educational offerings and resources. Gateway Scripts recently hosted two immersive courses at Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, CO, focusing on ESAPI application development and Automation with Varian APIs. Attendees gained practical skills in software development, DICOM file structures, and automation, with expert guidance from industry professionals like Rex Cardan. The event also included a fun night of Virtual Reality gaming, fostering camaraderie among participants. The courses were a resounding success, blending technical expertise with hands-on experience and setting the stage for future innovations in radiation oncology.
Gateway Scripts recently had the pleasure of participating in the AAPM Spring Clinical Meeting 2025, held at the striking M Resort Spa Casino in Henderson, Nevada. This year’s meeting reflected a growing momentum in the medical physics community around Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation. Visitors to our booth learned about our free resources, open-source tools, and clinical schools, designed to help clinics and individuals get started with the Eclipse Scripting API and Varian automation platforms.
